GENERAL CONDITIONS AND RULES OF USE OF THE CASA PAIRAL CAN FERRAN

We hope you enjoy a pleasant stay at the Casa Pairal Can Ferran.

Our commitment is to offer you a quality, beautiful, clean and comfortable house, surrounded by vineyards and nature.

Can Ferran is a tourist accommodation officially registered with the code HUTB-014445-92 in the Tourism Register of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and for this reason it meets all the requirements and obligations.

The following rules and conditions must be respected in all their points from the moment the reservation is made, during the stay and until leaving the house. Otherwise, the owner of the house reserves the right to immediately cancel the reservation or the stay in the house, with the consequent immediate vacancy, without refund of the amount already paid under any circumstances.

1. Number of people

  • Accommodation of a number of people greater than the maximum capacity of the house is not permitted.
  • It is necessary to detail exactly the number of adults, children and children under 2 years old who will stay in the house during the days of the stay agreed upon at the time of formalizing the reservation.

2. Payment and signal

  • The reservation will not be effective until the client has made the payment of 40% of the total price of the stay.

3. Reservation cancellation conditions

If, once the reservation has been confirmed and the deposit has been made, the client decides to cancel it, the deposit will be refunded according to the following criteria:

July and August reservations:

  • 80% of the deposit if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the arrival date.
  • No percentage of the deposit will be refunded if the cancellation occurs in a period less than 60 days before the arrival date.

Rest of the year:

  • 100% of the deposit if the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the date of arrival at the house.
  • No percentage of the deposit will be refunded if the cancellation occurs in a period of less than 30 days before the date of arrival.

4. Deposit

  • The client will pay on arrival the amount in cash of €350 (for a weekend) or €600 (for a whole week) as a deposit for possible damage to the furniture, utensils, installations or equipment of the house.
  • The amount of the deposit will be returned on the day of departure once it has been verified that there is no damage or defects. If defects are detected, they will be valued according to a scale and deducted from the deposit. If they exceed this amount, the difference will be paid.

5. Payment of the amount of the stay

  • When formalizing entry to the house, the client will pay in cash the total amount of the reservation minus the amount already given as a deposit. It is also possible to make a bank transfer 10 working days before entering the house.

6. Tourist tax

  • From November 1, 2012, the tax on stays in tourist establishments (IEET) comes into force, which will be applied according to the current rate to all people over 16 years per night, with a maximum of 7 nights.

7. Arrival

  • Upon arrival, the client will sign the acceptance of the conditions of use of the house and will provide a photocopy of the ID card or passport of all guests to register them, in compliance with the regulations, in the Mossos d’Esquadra user register.

8. Schedules

  • Weekend stays will be a minimum of 2 nights: check-in on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and check-out on Sunday until 5:00 p.m..
  • Stays in July and August will be a minimum of 7 nights (8 days), and will be from Saturday from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. until the following Saturday contracted before 10:00 a.m..
  • Interruption of stay: No refund will be made in the event of interruption of the stay.

9. Services

  • Equipment: Can Ferran provides you with household items, sheets and bath towels. The house is also equipped with small appliances: toaster, Nespresso compatible and filter coffee machine, blender, fans and hairdryers. Pool towels are not included.
  • In the event that any item of clothing, household items, decoration or appliance is missing, its cost will be borne by the client.
  • Free cot: We have a cot for children under 2 years old. Its installation will not cost anything. Check availability beforehand.
  • Supplies: The consumption of water, gas, electricity and heating are included in the total price of the stay.

10. Cleaning

  • During your stay, cleaning is the responsibility of the guests. The final cleaning service between different guests is included in the price, but the house must be left in the same conditions of cleanliness, order and hygiene in which it was delivered. Otherwise, a supplement of €150 will be applied.
  • Rubbish must be deposited in the municipal selective containers in the town, never inside the house or the garden.

11. Gardening

  • During the summer months, the gardening service will carry out the relevant maintenance within a schedule agreed with the customer.

12. Pets

  • Pets are not allowed.

13. Restrictions

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the house. In order to preserve the clean and healthy environment of Can Ferran, smoking is not allowed inside the house. We ask that you be careful and avoid throwing cigarettes on the floor of the outdoor spaces of the house. It is completely prohibited to make fires and throw flares around the entire perimeter of the property as well as to smoke on the hammocks by the pool, as they burn and get damaged.
  • It is not allowed to bring furniture, sound equipment or similar into the house, nor to carry out any type of work.
  • It is prohibited to use the house and its surroundings for any activity other than that agreed in this contract. Nor may activities or conduct be carried out that are contrary to hygiene or normal coexistence (vandalism, drunkenness, uncivil parties, etc.) that threaten public order and good coexistence with the neighborhood be carried out. In the event of any of these situations, the owner reserves the right to terminate the rental contract at any time, and the tenants must leave the premises immediately without any type of refund.
  • Fireplaces: Although the house has 4 fireplaces, their use is not permitted in any of them. Only the use of the barbecue located in the garden of the house is permitted.
  • Stone staircase inside the house: It is not permitted to go up or down this staircase, and the Property is exempt from any civil and criminal liability arising from its use.

14. Precautions

  • The owner will not be responsible for any personal and/or valuable objects, or vehicles owned by the client that may be found in the house during the contracted stay, or for their loss, disappearance or theft.
  • We ask that you close all windows and doors with a key when you leave the house to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.

15. Regulations for the use of the private swimming pool of Can Ferran

  • The pool is not protected or closed, so it is the responsibility of the adult guests (parents) to supervise children both during and outside of swimming hours.
  • There is no lifeguard.
  • Children under 14 years of age cannot swim alone; must always be accompanied by an adult.
  • The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of guests of the Can Ferran house. The tenant exempts the Property from any civil and criminal liability arising from the use of the swimming pool.
